Since we're in March and March is Women's History Month I thought I'd continue making posts centered on women, or rather, some of my favorite women throughout history. Icons of the 1960s

It's been a long time since I have made an Icons post, the last one was in January and I was planning on doing posts for the next two decades and for some reason decided to go with other posts. Anyway I'm back to posting this series and today is all about the 1960s. I must confess the 1960s is my favorite decade for fashion, I love the polished look at the beginning of the decade and also equally love the bohemian look in the later part of the decade. As the Bob Dylan said The Times They Are A Changin. The 1960s were all about change including fashion and beauty. While the housewife was still going strong, women began to see they could have other options including working and going about the single life. At the beginning of the decade fashion was still pretty polished women like Jacqueline Kennedy and Audrey Hepburn were incredibly fashionable.
