Fashion Through Film: The Wizard of OZ
I love movies and I love fashion so I've decided to combine the two and call it Fashion Through Film . Once a month (or every other month) I'll take a classic film with iconic fashion and post about it. This month I'm starting with The Wizard of OZ. At the beginning the film is in black and white. Here you can see Dorothy's gingham dress. After the tornado, Dorothy finds herself in a very colorful place, OZ. Here you can see her blue gingham dress and blue ribbons. The first person Dorothy meets in this magical land is Glinda, The Good Witch. Who comes and goes as a pink bubble, how else would you travel? Glinda is dressed very princess-esque. She's wearing a pink, glittery, poofy dress. Of course no look would be complete without accessories, a matching crown and a star shaped wand complete her look.
