My Favorite Women Throughout History
March is Women's History Month. Last year I made a couple posts mainly from women in the entertainment world, this time around I've decided to make a post about women in the non-entertainment business that have influenced me in one way or another. Anne Frank Born: June 12, 1929 - Died March 12, 1945 Known For: Frank was a Jewish Diarist who with her family went into hiding during World War II and was eventually arrested and taken to a Nazi Concentration Camp where she'd die. Her diary was posthumously published by her father, Otto Frank, after her death, The Diary of a Young Girl which documents her life in hiding from 1942-1944. Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Born: July 28, 1929 - Died: May 19, 1994 Known For: Probably most known for being the former first lady to the 35th president, John F. Kennedy from 1961 until Kennedy's assassination in 1963. She was also known (and still is) as a fashion icon. Coco Chanel Born: August 19, ...
