Here's monthly highlights and some films to check out in May on TCM. 


Highlights For The Month:
  • Marlene Dietrich is Star of the Month airing Thursday nights in May.
  • TCM Spotlight features movie series, this includes Blondie, Mexican Spitfire, Andy Hardy, The Thin Man and others. It airs Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in May.
  • Harvey J. Kaye is May's Guest Programmer on May 21st. The three films he picked are: The Grapes of Wrath (1940), Casablanca (1942) and Deadline USA (1952).
  • Robert Osborne Birthday Tribute airs May 3rd with 2 films, 4 Private Screenings and the TCM 20th Anniversary Tribute. 
  • Mother's Day airs May 13th. 
  • Memorial Day Marathon runs from May 25th - May 28th.

Since we're in March and March is Women's History Month I thought I'd continue making posts centered on women, or rather, some of my favorite women throughout history.
