31 Days of Oscar Schedule

It's that time of the year again, Oscar season. TCM airs it's annual 31 Days of Oscar from February 1st - March 3rd. The theme this year is by category, i.e. Best Original Song, Best Picture, ect. Below are some of my picks. The entire schedule can be viewed here.



  • High Society (1956) airs 2/1 at 4/3 p.m.
  • A Star is Born (1954) airs 2/2 at 11:15/10:15 a.m.
  • Limelight (1952) airs 2/2 at 8/7 p.m.
  • Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962) airs 2/9 at 8/7 p.m.
  • The Red Shoes (1948) airs 2/10 at 2:30/1:30 p.m.
  • Cabaret (1972) airs 2/12 at 8/7 p.m.
  • The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1964) airs 2/13 at 2/1 p.m.
  • Meet Me in St. Louis (1944) airs 2/14 at 4/3 p.m.
  • Splendor in the Grass (1961) airs 2/15 at 8/7 p.m.
  • The Thin Man (1934) airs 2/25 at 12 p.m./11 a.m.
  • Mildred Pierce (1945) airs 2/28 at 4/3 p.m.

Since we're in March and March is Women's History Month I thought I'd continue making posts centered on women, or rather, some of my favorite women throughout history.
