I'm starting off with A Star is Born.  There are 3 films from this and supposdly another remake is on the way starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. In my opinion while Lady Gaga can sing I just don't see why this film needs to be made for a 4th time. Anyway let's get stared. A Star is Born (1937) Starring: Janet Gaynor, Fredric March, Adolphe Menjou Driected By: William A. A Star is Born (1954) Starring: Judy Garland, James Mason, Jack Carson Directed By: George Cukor *The second version, a musical, the best known number is The Man That Got Away.  Also, this film was nominated for 6 Academy Awards and won none. A Star...

Classic Animated Hollywood Shorts

Image
In the 1930's and 1940's animated shorts featuring caricature's of Hollywood stars were super popular. Studios including Warner Brothers and Walt Disney made many shorts either with their iconic characters (i.e. Mickey Mouse) meeting Hollywood stars or shorts about stars. Here's a few to check out. Hollywood Steps Out (1941) Hollywood Picnic (1937) Mother Goose Goes Hollywood (1938) Mickey's Gala Premier (1933) The Autograph Hound (1939) Soda Squirt (1933) Until Next Time, Ashley A.
