1970s Playlist

I've been on a 70's music kick lately so I thought I'd round up several songs from one of the greatest decades for music (in my opinion) and make a playlist. While I didn't intend for most of this list to include rock songs it does. I also have thrown in some disco (what would a 70's playlist be without it!) and a dash of R&B. Enjoy! :)

Original and Remake: The Shop Around The Corner

Since we're in December I thought I'd make another holiday themed original and remake. This time it's the 1940 film, T he Shop Around the Corner . Icons of the 1960s

It's been a long time since I have made an Icons post, the last one was in January and I was planning on doing posts for the next two decades and for some reason decided to go with other posts. Anyway I'm back to posting this series and today is all about the 1960s. I must confess the 1960s is my favorite decade for fashion, I love the polished look at the beginning of the decade and also equally love the bohemian look in the later part of the decade. As the Bob Dylan said The Times They Are A Changin. The 1960s were all about change including fashion and beauty. While the housewife was still going strong, women began to see they could have other options including working and going about the single life.
