Icons of The 1920s

I've decided I want to start something about famous women of decades past who are known as beauty and/or style icons. I'm starting with the 1920s and I will go through the 1970s. I'll probably do a post like this either once a month or every other month. Let's get started.

Louise Brooks
Famously known as an actress and for her bob haircut.

Clara Bow
Famously known as an actress and for her (again) bobbed hair and heart shaped lips. Meaning she'd put her lipstick on in the shape of a heart which many women copied.

Mary Pickford
Famously known as an actress and for her long locks.

Lillian Gish
Famously known as an actress and (again) for her long locks which were never cut unlike Pickford who after cutting her hair in 1928 as a form of independence outraged fans. Gish's long locks fell well below her waist her whole life.

Coco Chanel
Famously known for being a fashion designer and for her style which displayed elegance yet simplicity.

I tried to get a decent list but I'm not sure others would be considered beauty and style icons.
Do you agree with my list? Is there someone I forgot? Tell me below.

Until Next Time,
Ashley A.
