What's On TCM in December

Instead of posting this next month I've decided to make this post for this week. I have Christmas themed posts for next month and besides December is just around the corner anyway. Highlights For December: Cary Grant is Star of the Month airing Mondays throughout the month. Jason Lee is this month's Guest Programmer on December 17th. His three flicks he picked are: The Kid (1921), City Lights (1931) and Paris, Texas (1984).  In Memoriam airs December 30th with 8 films honoring those who passed away earlier this year. Among those included: Maximilian Schell in Topkapi (1964), Juanita Moore in Imitation of Life (1959), Elaine Stritch in Kiss Her Goodbye (1959), Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting (1997), Phillip Seymour Hoffman in Doubt (2008), Alain Resnais in Mon Oncle D' Amerique (1980), Gordon Willis in Zelig (1983) and Richard Attenborough in Brighton Rock (1947).  Friday Night Spotlight showcases the films of director/choreographer Charles Walt...

What's On TCM in November

Since it's officially November I've decided to make a post about what's happening this month on TCM. Highlights For November: Star of the Month  - This month is not just one star but several silent stars. It's broken down into 4 sections. On November 3rd it's The Women, on November 10th it's The Men, on November 17th it's Oscar Winners, Child Stars and Sisters and finally on November 24th it's The Clowns.  Road Movies are the Friday Night Spotlight Jeff Garlin is the Guest Programmer on November 6th. The four films he picked are: Meet John Doe (1941), Bullitt (1968), The Third Man (1949) and Dodsworth (1936).  Veteran's Day Real-Life Heroes airs November 11th with five films.  A Night At The Movies: George Lucas and The World of Fantasy Cinema airs November 25-26 with 12 films and a new documentary.  Fan Favorites airs November 29th, four dedicated TCM fans select one holiday themed movie.  Films Airing This Month to Check Out: B...
